- Is Betty's Books a children's bookstore?
While we carry a selection of picture books and board books (and have a super fun kids’ area), we are not a children’s bookstore. Our specialty is comics, graphic novels, and manga, and our selection ranges from babies all the way to grownups. In fact, some of the books in our adult section are very child un-friendly! - Do you carry single issue comics?
No. We have a wide variety of comics from DC, Marvel, Image, and other major publishers, but we exclusively carry their trades, omnibuses, and other collected editions. - Do you have a webstore/Do you ship?
Yes, and yes! You can search for books simply using the search bar at the top of this page, or access our full webstore here, and when checking out, you have the option to choose in-store pick up or shipping. - Can I sell my work at Betty’s Books?
Thanks for your interest! We get a lot of requests from local artists and authors to carry their work, so we ask that you start by filling out this application. Please read the details on the application page carefully. - I’m involved with a charity event, and would like to have Betty’s Books donate something.

We do! We currently have three monthly meet-ups, all of which can be found in our Events Page! Our Graphic Novel Book Club is our longest-running club, and has a robust attendance. The two more recent additions to the lineup are our Zine Make & Swap, and our Wildcard Book Club, both of which change quite a bit month-to-month! Signing up for our newsletter above will have you in line to be notified about all of these events each month, plus more! On our Instagram, we make sure to post about events as soon as we can, so consider following us there as well. - Do you host [insert event here]
We host lots of regular events, all of which we'll put up on our Events Page. If you’re looking to host your own event, we have party packages for kids here and adults here. If you’re looking to host a recurring event, you can reach out to us here. Please be as detailed as possible. - Are you hiring?
Most likely, no. We have a very small staff! If you’re ever interested in applying for a position, you can check our linktree here, and if the application is linked, then we are probably hiring.
