Authors Eugenia Yoh and Vivienne Chang are coming to Betty's Books to celebrate their SECOND picture book, WHAT IF WE...!
We'll begin with a warm welcome, songs, and a read aloud of the book, during which Eugenia and Vivienne will chat about the book with the kiddos in the audience.
After storytime, we'll have a kid-friendly Q&A, and a special craft! You'll also be able to get copies of your book signed if you'd like.

Expert knitter and friend of the shop Emma Oldehoeft is hosting our first ever knitting workshop, perfect for beginners looking to get started, and experts looking to hone their craft + meet other fiber artists!
This workshop will include:
- A lesson for beginners in starting your own scarf + basic knitting knowledge to start building your skills
- Duplicate stitching lesson for more advanced knitters (we recommend bringing an existing knit to stitch onto, although some samples will be provided)
- Bonus craft for all: stitch marker charm making! Don't know what a stitch marker is? You'll find out soon!
We will provide basic supplies including: yarn, needles, scrap samples to practice on, tapestry needles, duplicate stitch patterns, stitch markers, charms, and scissors. However, if you're already a knitter, we encourage you to bring your own supplies so as to be as comfortable as you can, and so there are enough for newbies.
